When we move our hand with pen to paper
a corridor opens up
between our minds and spirits
that allows insight to move through…
like light through a door cracked open.

The product is much less important than the process…

The process includes movement, sensory stimulation, mindfulness, and play.

Some examples of creative unblocking include:
• Scribbling
• Bilateral Drawing
• Doodling to Music
• Writing Prompts
• Free Flow Writing (Stream of Consciousness Writing/ Automatic Writing)

Something to Consider…
Creating and Analyzing are two different processes… when we try to combine them we don’t do either one very well.

So… take a deep breath, put pen to paper, and allow what wants to be expressed, to be expressed without judgement or analysis.

Allow your hands to move freely, bring attention to the sensations of the materials, to your breath and body, and allow thoughts to come and also to go.

Follow your intuition about what colors or materials you are attracted to.
